Reason for WP8:
The reason or reasons why it is ultimately the 620 become were ahead all that I wanted to try something different than what you constantly, everywhere and in abundance looks. In the office there are only S3, S2 and Iphones. I also found it very likable as a longtime Nokia users that Nokia has finally resurfaced from obscurity.
The 920 had me at the first try very intrigued with its very stable quality, outstanding camera and extremely sensitive display. However, it was and the price is also ludicrously high. Then, when the 620 was introduced and has been praised already in the first preliminary tests, my decision was made even though it is of course not all of the 920 Eigenschften has.
Purchase:
I have not ordered from Amazon! The price has been here for whatever reason is always changing, and went for a few colors at the beginning of even more than 300 out! I ordered it three weeks ago for bargain-like 219 with Vodafone. There for it is only the color black, but for the price (without branding and unlocked) was and still is to me the matter. Only at start-up comes shortly Vodafone characters!
Processing:
When unpacking, I was pleasantly surprised, because it live looks much better than on the many pictures. It works especially not so chubby! The size corresponds to the way the the iPhone 4 / 4S, only the display of the 620 is slightly larger; o) I also like that there is a small margin on the display frame, so it is not directly located on the diplay and can be scratched.
The processing is in my view very good overall. Nothing creaks or rattles. Only the camera lens, there is a gap through the unfortunately dust can penetrate. The mat covers (battery cover) feels very comfortable on (like a flatterer). It is very stable, almost stiff and holds bombproof. It's even a little difficult to uncover. Among them there are then the removable 1300mA / h battery, the Simfach and SDmicro pocket for memory expansion (TOP!).
BATTERY:
When battery I had my doubts at first, however, whether that brings me at all throughout the day. But I was proved wrong! I always have the radio and WLAN, write the day's more WhatsApp, call mails, added together then phone ca 1 hour and about 1 hour surfing. The battery holds just 1.5 days! Angry Birds is indeed installed but have not yet tried out games. Probably will force the the battery faster then in the knee! For me, it is certainly sufficient and surprisingly good.
For Vergeich: of my E51 battery has only two days kanpp held (battery almost 1100mA / h large) it but the display was 3 times smaller !!
Software and Performance:
Softwartechnisch I can say that relatively quickly gets used to the operation. It ragiert well, runs very smoothly and without any lag. When you launch apps you have to wait while 1-2sekunden, given the small memory that goes for me but okay. A colleague (eingfleischter Samsung trailers and S2 user) himself was surprised by the liquid usability!
Many useful and voinstallierte apps like Nokia Navigation and BingScan function properly. Many other apps like "WhatsApp" I found quickly. Just a pity that some vendors support so far still only Android and IOS. Example: the new HR1 app is not for WP8! This will hopefully change and fundamentally in the coming months
On the Internet it is relatively quickly go (I think) at least much faster than my little tablet; Unfortunately, another direct comparison did not. In lowercase links, there are sometimes problems Touch (funtkioniert only with repeated tapping)
Camera:
Yes, there is a flash and video feature! : O) It's nothing compared to the 920 or other expensive phones like S3 or iPhone, but with sufficient brightness makes them with its 5MP definitely useful Schnappschussbilder- and with numerous end apps like Cinemagram, Instagram, Photosynth etc very versatile and cool.
Positive and negative:
Positives:

-Telefoneigenschaften (Receiver and speakers go very loud when needed!)
-Fast Internet
-handliches pocketable
-Good screen (even when the sun is no problem!)
-great Nokia Apps as free Nokia Music, offline navigation, Photo Beamer etc
Negatives:
- (Still?) No way, for example, create folders for similar apps / Tiles. You have to think carefully about what you put on the Start screen, otherwise it will quickly become confusing. Ex. The app "Power Tool" (very useful) manages 5 programs in one app to combine. For tips, I am grateful here
- Pre-installed music player has no Vorspulfunktion !? Although I do not hear as much music over the phone, but I find that really annoying! Is there an app?
- Display (touch) does not work sometimes. I do not yet noticed mainly in lowercase links; it is only at 2.3 or 4 tap! Otherwise, no problem
Overall, this is more likely to complain at a high level, especially for the price! Usually there will also likely WP8 and not the 620 directly (except screen).
Finally:
I've been buying so far no regrets, will keep it and am of the opinion that there is currently no performanteres smartphones for the proportionate low price!
Each of a handy (IPhone4 large) good looking smartphone and is not shy with the WP8 Lumia 620 well served! These and me currently being incurred negative points fall in the many positive qualities not really significant and are partly perhaps even eliminated through updates!

ADDENDUM:
after 2 weeks of use I can describe a few positive and negative impressions. The positives first:
+ Very stable quality workmanship!
Yesterday my wife while walking given the Lumia because they wanted to photograph what. However, it is her somehow slipped in the freezing cold from his hand and fell after repeated and unsuccessful follow-up of more than 1m height on the road. I've seen it already shattered into a thousand pieces, but it was happening on the housing corner NOTHING to a proportionate small notch !! everything works, cracked or chipped nothing! Incredibly good. The S3 my colleague has dropped her last week only from the table, since she has hairline cracks in the cover and the display !!
+ Battery
I'm still amazed at how long does this Winzakku! If you have the opportunity to use WLAN, you should mainly tun.Ich have in the office and at home always-Fi and 3G logically and only if necessary. One battery charge lasts me so loose two days, then the battery is still at about 20%.
(But I surf is not as much as in the beginning) The longest had been three days 22Std with a charge! A battery APP holds the fixed vividly! ; O)
+ Is fully stable
had so far not a single crash (software engineering) and the clock, which had some complained here, running with me from the beginning constantly!
Negative / annoying:
- Ringer volume
been poorly resolved, and (again) criticized several times is the fact that the set volume level applies to videos, music as well as for the ringtone. So I hear soft music, if I then not sincerely put it back, even ringing etc very quiet and you can hear it not just !! There are unfortunately no opportunities for profile setting ?!
- No notification LED.
Just because I often have the problem that the ringtone / notification sound is seehr quiet, is made worse that you do not even signal Siert per LED gets that you get a message or missed a call ...
- App provider
Actually, you can find almost everything. But when special things you get in response is always that you provide only one tender for the two major suppliers ... This has nothing to do with the Lumia but I think it's still to k ..... that WP8 users still so holds out, even though it has been heavily used in the past few months! Ex .: At my work, we have a special IT system that soon even though Windows 8 will accept ... However, in this innovation WP8 not be taken into account and the Service push mail and will Kalendersychronisation etc again just for the two major and support offered.
