ideal for Spray painting

The mask was used by my brother in law to repaint a helmet.
This has mastered the mask with flying colors. The spray paint you did not smell thanks to the mask.
No odors could penetrate the mask, which is in itself very positive!

It is recommended that in addition to use of this 3M 4255 Respirator 3M 400 protection fleece. It protects all 3M 4000 half masks against particles and strong impurities and increases the service life.

The breathing mask is doing what it should, namely reduce organic gases and vapors as well as particles up to 30 times the limit. The 3M 4255 paint spray mask has an exhale valve FFA2P3RD.

Unfortunately, the mask does not change filter replacement for paint spray or machine grinding work, which is why I can only awarded 4 stars. She thus becomes disposable when the filter has received maximum pollutants and then you have to buy a new mask.
The price I therefore feel a little high for a disposable article!

Conclusion: good respirator, ideally suited for the amateur painter. The professionals should perhaps look for a respiratory mask, where you can replace the filter exchange without any problems.
