The part is solid and fits well on the iPad2. The edges are burred and not broken. The surface has a different feel than the iPad2. That's irritating for people who have a flair for it. The charging cable is ridiculously short. It is probably intended to be used on notebook. For other languages, a shift is provided. The choice of course depends on the settings in the iPad2. However, I find it a disadvantage that when switching to another language, the keyboard layout is changed (for example can be found in English, the "y" displayed under the "z"). One can live without that. But English lyrics I write like setting with English, because then write errors are displayed beautifully. So you have to work with tricks. Write the text with the German keyboard and the last words with the English. Then all spelling mistakes appear beautiful.
Caution: Never disconnect the keyboard from the iPad2 when no virtual keyboard is displayed. Then you get the virtual keyboard again and never need the iPad to restart or you need to create the same situation (iPad and keyboard) again, display the virtual keyboard from the keyboard again and then disconnect first.
