So why only 3 stars?
1) Font of the key label
There may be countless people who can operate a keyboard blind, but I do not belong, that I am now and then rely on the key label. And frankly, the stylish font of the key label is terrible. Every time I have to look at the keyboard, I think to myself that overshot here far above the target was. The "R" or "&" You have to watch only once. I want to recognize the character immediately on a keyboard and does not first have to guess what it could mean.
2) no dedicated multimedia keys
Even (or even just) on a gaming keyboard includes dedicated multimedia keys in my opinion, mainly because of the volume control, which I need frequently. In the Black Widow was on the resolved the second assignment of the F keys, which is not optimal for two reasons: a), each time the Fn key is pressed to (volume control, therefore one needs both hands) and b) is the caption the secondary functions of the F-keys are not illuminated, ie not in the dark you can see the features.
3) Cherry MX Blue
Offering a gaming keyboard exclusively with Cherry MX Blue Keys has not been the best decision in my opinion. MX Blue are optimal for writing but just for quick games less suitable because linear Blacks or Reds are a better choice. When I do a gaming keyboard ausrüste as a supplier with a cherry switch, I would have rather opted for the Browns, probably represent the best compromise between the linear and the tactile MX switches. Best of all would, of course, the choice option for the buyer.
4) USB port and audio ports on the right side
The keyboard must have designed a lefty. How can you get the idea the USB port and two audio ports (headphone and mic) to be mounted on the right side of the keyboard ?! There is my mouse out hanging cable or USB sticks interfere there only. In a gaming keyboard ergonomics is everything, so this small but for right quite disturbing detail must be mentioned.
5) Software
In short, the software for the keyboard is waste. Even she will not reveal to me why I have to create an online account for a keyboard, so that my profile can be stored in the cloud. Such a waste! Donated the keyboard more memory, so that the profiles can be stored in the keyboard, then you do not have such a cloud frippery.
6) macro keys
For me - and, according to relevant forums - with other users there are permanent problems with the assignment of the macro keys. Because of the lack dedicated multimedia keys (see above) I put the volume and mute the macro keys. Unfortunately, the keyboard does not notice the assignment. After a restart or waking from sleep, the keyboard has forgotten the key assignment. The Synapse software has the problem not in line yet able to solve in offline mode. These macro problems (and the horrible font of keys) ultimately led to the fact that I have returned the keyboard again.
