AVM FRITZ! Powerline 1000E Set (1.000 Mbit / s, ideal for HD streaming and NAS connections) (Accessories)

Customer Review

The AVM FRITZ! Powerline 1000E are a good alternative to 5xxE Set.
They are faster and more efficiently through the use of all three phases in the MIMO method.

I use it from the living room to the study with a 25-meter cable run (mains from 2011) or more. In between is a fuse box with standard 16A fuses, since both circuits are protected separately.

Loud FritzBox The set reached 7390 and powerline software with me
Send 649 Mbit / s
Receiving 664 Mbit / s

This corresponds with UDP traffic to the 150 MBit / sec real data transmission rate.
Measurements were taken of Windows client PC with IPerf client via Powerline 1000E adapter with 25 meters cable run through the fuse box away, directly Fritzbox IPerf Server.

So I can therefore my 100Mbit Internet connection at full capacity over the Powerline connection.

Now, however, the shortcoming.
The adapter verliehren often times to power on a transmission / reception direction.
I also had before data transfer rates
Send 578 Mbit / s
Receive 70 Mbit / s
Or send was worse by 80% and was receiving around 600 Mbit / s.

The problem also occurs when the Adpater are right next to a double socket together. If you put both Adper pure, they have at initial speeds of 1000MBit / sec, according to Fritz box. After half an hour or more, the transfer rates go down rapidly to about 200 Mbit / sec, which means a power loss of 80%. Remember that Adpater hanging side by side on the same wall outlet. If you start the Powerline adapter then again by pulling and plugging, the game starts all over again.

Secondly, I have from time to time sporadic dropouts. Then I can send no more data over the connection. This is in part after a few minutes of alone again or Powerline Adapter you start again.

One must try at various outlets in the house and decide for themselves where they work best, the adapter including. I have apparently currently on the condition that they run both very well synchronized. my net transfer rates, according to Fritz box are the 500-600 Mbits / sec and both directions. But this can be different again tomorrow.

The Firmare 2.0.0-00 therefore seems still to have teething problems, which should be further improved by AVM.
I have to put a support request to AVM and received log files to AVM for evaluation.
For instructions, look at [...]

If the AVM FRITZ! Powerline 1000E but run once stable, they are currently the fastest powerline adapter in the market and one can you IPTV, HD video streaming and high-speed Internet connections full auslasen.

With best regards
Christopher
