The smooth tube surface turns out in practice to be very pleasant. Although I had actually given not as important the choice of the tube, but simply wanted a new tube to my newly acquired Raindance showerhead, I must say that this smooth tube vs. a significant improvement. the 'normal' shower hoses. So I can fully recommend this.
