So far at least in theory. In practice, there are significant differences in these saws, although these are all moving about in the same price segment.
The Güde saw is my third. The first of another manufacturer was so unhappy designed so that the chain can grundsätzch too taut tension HAD, had the second from another manufacturer a opposite the flared pattern significantly "lüttigere" screw of the housing, as well as the oil pump was broken during the initial start.
After this history, I was curious to see what awaits me at the Güde chainsaw.
And I must say: Everything ok!
- The housing can be screwed well without tools; the design is inside of metal and rugged
- The chain tension is adjusted separately also without tools
- The oil pump does what it is supposed
- The machine is durable enough for normal operations
- The Power of 2200 Watts is easily sufficient
Today we have a tree (ca. 10 m) sawn, which the storm had dumped on my land. This went ratzfatz and was very pleasant.
Through the lateral motor with the rotating handle can turn the machine for horizontal cuts and so working with incoming or expiring chain. The metal claw is robust enough.
Bar and chain are branded goods from Oregon, the kickback tendency when working is rather low, because the sword is still quite small, almost like a sword for carving sections.
Conclusion: For the money, a really recommendable machine!
