The TP-Link TL-WA730RE Range Extender can be installed via software or browser. Advance the PC must however be configured to the IP address specified in the TP-Link manual to ensure that TP-Link TL-WA730RE and PC in the same IP network are. An Ethernet cable for the connection between your PC and the Range Extender is attached.
The configuration is not a problem after a short training. The range extender gets the access to active wireless, like a PC, including the network key. Once configured, the cable connection between the PC and Range Extender are separated.
The TP-Link TL-WA730RE is ideally placed to a place where signal amplification is deemed necessary. This may for example be an upper floor, where not much comes from the origin signal of the wireless router or access point. The Range Extender picks up the possibly weak signals and sends itself strengthened.
My opinion: The reinforcement works, I measured it. However, one must obviously expect no big miracle. I would have promised even more. Perhaps the power of the device is also aware of steamed (for Germany). Because the configuration of the TL-WA730RE must be eigestellt the country in which it operates. Anyway, I forgive at this point only 4 stars.
Finally, I would like to mention the energy-saving, electronic power supply. What is not taken for granted even in much more expensive devices.
