I have the DP2 Merrill already stalked the longer, I've always looked at photos, read reviews and knew anyway that I would have to buy the real conviction this camera. Relatively short of money I thought that must really have what it, or she goes back. Well, I have not returned. Usually I work with the Canon 500D, with whom I am well pleased, but in spite of their relatively light weight, the DP2 fits in anywhere. Small, handy and practical. Then went out the first time on the first days of spring and a few photos shot madness I thought, but it was only when I saw it on the computer I can judge really. But even there, convinced the result completely. Rich colors but the sharpness only !! Even at full aperture! Because you can zoom in forever and it stays and stays sharp. And yet, one may pick out with the software (SPP) still a lot, especially with the X3 Fill Light feature. Yes, it is bad weather camera unless worried a good tripod. I knew that, but before that and also other speakers already written. However, night shooting with a tripod are also a big hit. All in all: Highly recommended! The Foveon sensor has its place again. So sharp images I yet do not get with the Canon (or the lenses). It is a compact simple camera, which is limited to the essentials, but it dominates top. Now even the other Merrill would interest me;)
