After we decided this year to tighten a Awning over our terrace, we decided after some searching for this one. The build quality is to be alright but I was a little disappointed that there share the sail 2 sewn together and are so thick seam in the middle, the then no longer looks so great in the sun. (Ok this may not bother everyone) The eyelets at the corners are good and clean sewn and make a fairly stable impression. The supplied cable is spun against, unfortunately, very poor and made of rough very rough plastic fibers. What is advertised as a "water-repellent" is exactly "water repellent" no more than that when it rains it gets longer While under sail not really wet but slightly damp. Here I would have liked more. Now to the actual deficit, attaching was an ordeal, not because it is difficult but because it is almost impossible to tension the sail so that forms no bag which itself captures water when it rains (which is, unfortunately, not too seldom in Germany ). Just as in the product image is not about before we have long played around with watering cans and tested at the end but still finding a way to the sail to tension so that collects no water in it. Now it's true but it does not depend ideal, it has to be angled rather steep and a corner is very deep so the water can drain. There is still a need for improvement.
Conclusion: The fabric is good and has a pleasant color, the processing is neat and holds some standing at Wind. Sun is not a problem because only when it rains, it will after a while a little damp but this is to be absorbed. Unfortunately, the sails bulge when it as in the example image clamped down through and it begins filled with water (no matter how hard you stressed!).
