Questionable baseplate

Warning, the 2 stars relate to my application!
The build quality is fine for the price, there are no edges or large gaps. The trigger and the wheel is different from the body, but okay.
The handle has a relatively strong smell, probably from the adhesive, this should be forgiven for a time.
Why only 2 stars? I carry the camera almost exclusively on a shoulder strap, this is attached to the tripod screw. Now with an attached handle must be screwed onto the handle of the belt down, there lies the problem: the bottom plate does not leave a strong impression. The attachment is not reinforced, the base plate from plastic too thin.

I sent about the handle back.
