I run the TV via a satellite dish, so I have a crystal-clear, knotless image. I had an older Philips LCD, the general picture is a super attributed, but the Panasonic is simply better!
Picture:
Even without large rotating the image settings, you get natural colors, to see a blinding white and a black abysmal. In my opinion, offer the image modes "Warm1" and "Warm2" the most natural image, especially when watching movies on DVD or Bluray, but that of course depends on your personal preferences.
I do not in any case, never succeeded in devices of other brands that I have tested in various markets, so "normal" face colors as this television set.
Using the known Burosch test pictures I have the presentation still can optimize something, you can turn up with this TV the contrast quite far, drown without the details.
With self-produced test patterns in black and white, I've been looking for pixel errors, but found none. A glow from the corners, when present, to see only minimally and only when absolutely black images. Clouding, banding, DSE and what there is everything for possible errors, so far I could not discover, while I have specially soccer and downhill skiing looked, although I do not care. But maybe I do not even, what I should look. But if I do not see any error, I must not resent ....
In other forums is written about the fact that the TV very angle dependent. That may be, if one looks a deviant angle to the TV. But I'm sitting in front of the TV watching and not next to it, so it does not bother me really. Although we four sitting on our large couch, and everyone has a different point of view, yet none has complained of the family ....
UHD:
I have not bought the TV for UHD, but just once "taken" that ability. There is still no content except Netflix, and for my internet speed is not enough. I think over the next time Bluray player or set-top boxes will reach the market, which then pass on to the 4K TV. That's why I can get over the lack of HEVC decoder.
APPS:
I have not tried many. Amazon Prime Video is going well and I have the same set me on my home screen.
Media Player:
The media player plays all that exists in my home network, and TS files that are on my VDR, as well as music from my NAS. Ribbed MKVs I did not try.
Sound:
Yes he has. But that's about it. For news or a talk show that may be sufficient, otherwise the purchase of a soundbar or the connection of a sound system mandatory. But what is to come from such a slim case already.
I was lucky enough to be able to buy the TV during a lightning action at a bargain price, so again a star more.
