The aluminum case is processed good for this price range and looks dibasic. Installation of IDE notebook hard drive can be accomplished without any problems and thanks to the enclosed screwdriver assembly is a cinch. The detection of the drive went on various systems (Linux, Windows XP - 8.1) without any problems. Also, the bandwidth requirements, limited by the USB 2.0, orderly.
Actually, the case would have because of these features five star must erhahlten. BUT! The case has not as of this type used a USB mini-B connector, but a standard USB-A port. The search for appropriate length cables (USB-A to USB-A) is difficult and expensive. And not all of these types of cables also ensure smooth operation. Therefore, a star deduction.
