First, a few words about me: I would describe myself as audiophile people and swear when I'm traveling on my Westone-In-Ears (400) - so I'm quite spoiled.
In noisy environments, however, (train, car, bus, airplane) you can despite excellent insulation of my in-ears at times by listening to the surrounding sounds - especially when it comes to a permanent roar. You have to turn up the volume and possibly disturbing even the neighbor ... unsatisfactory!
Looking for a headset that features Active Noise Cancelling, I have now already by some manufacturers. Including BOSE, Panasonic and Sennheiser. All these manufacturers have an excellent know-how in the audio sector and build good products .... but there are significant differences.
Noise Cancelling
When it comes to noise canceling BOSE is the King. Substituting the Bose night in the silent bedroom and Activate NC, happened something that you can not expect: There is even quieter!
Panasonic and especially Sennheiser noise here easily - Sennheiser louder than the Panasonic, but once you can hear Use low volume music, this is (very, very quiet!) Noise disappeared completely. In addition, this noise only noticeable when you are in anyway silent environments - and since you need anyway no ANC.
Bose: 5 points
Panasonic: 4 points
Sound quality:
Tie. The BOSE are in my opinion clear in the treble - bringing the Panas "kick gentler" bass, which are less vague, allowing for better my subjective taste more. Nevertheless, a draw.
Bose: 5 points
Panasonic: 5 points
Comfort:
Again tie. Both models are adjustable and are also suitable for several hours of sound orgies. The material of the ear cups nestled almost imperceptibly around our ears. Only the dimensions of the ear cups would have been a bit exuberant in both models. People with big ears could possibly have problems. On the other hand, you catch with both models after some time to schwitzeln something. Therefore only 4 points.
BOSE: 4 points
Panasonic: 4 points
Workmanship:
When facing the rich price of BOSE QC15 300 to about 115 of the Panasonic RP-HC700E-S, then already you wonder ... The BOSE headphones are now processed certainly not bad, but premium is to be noted here nothing. The feel is more like those of 75- Euro headphones, as they can buy in the market Media. The Panasonic's have a very valuable and also use more metal, which is likely to lead to longevity Good. Even if the Panasonic would earphones cost the same, the difference in quality was noticeable - but disappointed just given the pricing premium claim BOSE here - and Panasonic may points einheimsen for an excellent price / performance ratio (not only in terms of processing quality).
BOSE: 3 points
Panasonic: 5 points
Features:
Both opponents are almost identically equipped therefore (airplane adapter, etc.) and fired by a single AAA cell. BOSE additionally provides the QC15 still a remote cable, can be operated with the Apple products. Nice, but for me as an Android user does not really matter. The audio cable both earphones are interchangeable, which I find very thoughtful. So you can replace the cable individually - or take advantage of the headphones without wires, if only the ANC function is desired.
The decisive penalty when QC15 is that you can use it without any battery not at all! If the battery is empty, there is silence ... and that too without ANC ;-)) For Panasonic works of headphones with an uncharged battery as a normal headset. ANC can be hooked up on demand. Since I do not need permanent ANC, the BOSE sucks so pointless and empty batteries can hire a simple down. Poor! Too bad that this penalty outweighs the otherwise slightly better facilities ...
BOSE: 2 points
Panasonic: 4 points
Result:
BOSE: 19 points
Panasonic: 22 points
Now if you still calling himself remembered that the BOSE almost three times as expensive as the counterpart of Panasonic, is this point victory, in which I wanted to proceed really fair, again impressive. Nevertheless: Who really puts in an absolutely perfect ANC value at which the slightest hint of noise is not even noticeable, which should resort to BOSE. All other found in the Panasonic RP-HC700E-S the better and cheaper products.
