I previously had a DYMO LetraTag XR label printer which now got a screen damage. With DYMO however the tapes do not last as long. You will after some time in use of dark brown (alone by normal humidity). And the Texilbänder fall from the first wash. Have a Brother machine then learned at my parents know. Since it was not so. Brother Tapes for the P-Touch 1090 is available in many color combinations, in widths of 3.5mm, 6mm, 9mm and 12mm. And in lengths of 2m, 4m and 8m. A band in black and white in 12mmx4m laminated is always at the purchase. It must be remembered that a replacement band à 12mmx8m at best 10 costs (Hint: compare online). ADDENDUM:
Sadly you can not change the length of the pre- and run-down. Thus, there is always something that you have to cut the tape and discard (more than the Dymo LetraTag XR). Give therefore a star trigger and I feature my previously 5 stars 4 stars now. Have been buying but never regret it!
