Originally "only" to digitize ordered (> 250 pieces) of my old LPs, me the sound and tonal precision has the DD-2550 on my Yamaha plant more than convinced. The device itself makes immediately a qualitatively good impression and is built with about 12 kilos of weight fairly "stable". The assembly is done in about 1 minute, for the balancing of the tonearm but you should leave some time and have a steady hand - their plates will thank you afterwards! The placement of the needle is then so super smoothly that other people are only noted at the beginning of each piece.
Therefore, I will the OMNITRONIC DD-2550 is no longer "just" to save my LPs use, but also to the future to listen to my old vinyl treasures with a glass - maybe I'll buy that, either one or the other LP and treat myself to another Ortofon pickups ...
Conclusion: Buy recommendation
Oh by the way: to "analogue" times I had a Dual CS-630Q with Ortofon buyers
