A "ethnological policeman" an investigation that is slowly but surely as black history as snow and white Over the course of this entertaining novel (a little long for my liking though), and dune complex story full of characters whose ties searched them are unveiling little by little, we discover the Lappish complex civilization centuries of history loaded and geography dune area that can arouse strong passions (including mineral resources) may destroy its traditional activities including lélevage reindeer, torn between tradition and modernity brought by technology (snow scooter, electronic). I do not know if it's the best murder mystery that i read, but it's surely the most original. I recommend.
