Due to positive reviews and tests I ordered this disk for my notebook. The delivery was Amazon typically fast, the packaging, however, underground bad. The disk came without any padding on in a cardboard envelope, how else to use it for CDs etc. That made me skeptical and I've tested the board first with the 'Western Digital Data Lifeguard Diagnostics'. - Result of the test broke after about 1/3 with 'Too many bad sectors detected' from.

I have the hard drive returned directly and can again send me in exchange the same. - The packaging was just as bad, and this time the test has been canceled after about 10% with the same error message.

Also this board I will return, only this time I let reimburse me the money.

Whether it is due to the quality of this disk series or at the in my opinion inappropriate packaging, I can not judge. I'm going to now a Seagate purchased at another store for both "danger" to go out of the way.

I am otherwise a very satisfied and long-time customer and Amazon but in this case happy about the easy withdrawal process at Amazon, can advise on this hard drive just to be careful.
