I've had some practice, since I had the standard focusing screen of my 6D replaced already against the grating disc. In a few minutes then this copy was used.

The work order is a stunner!

Fortunately, I only have lenses with a maximum aperture of 2.8 and 1.4 and can anyone who is in a comparable situation recommend that you use this shim only urgent! One is almost tempted to turn off the autofocus and ask yourself sharp. This works on the entire image area - past the fumbling with the focus points for portraits with 85mm / 1.4 and in close-ups with the 100mm Macro.

A worthwhile extension of 6D
