The material properties and stability of the castle I am very satisfied. Since the bike has so far not changed hands, the deterrent effect should be taken for granted.
Two criticisms spoil the fun at the castle, however.
1. The instructions for attaching the bracket is a little unreasonable. His craftsmanship is definitely required to attach the bracket. The recommended heat gun to seal the ends of the cut off after the adjustment tether, is certainly not available in every household. All in all, this results in a deduction of points.
It is positive that the holder mounted correctly convinced with great stability. Even with fast cross-country runs over hill and dale Castle always remains securely in place (Crossbike).
2. Connected is the safe storage but with very loud rattling noises. These are rooted in the game of the bracket and the closing mechanism. Especially the closing mechanism ensures a constant background noise. The castle unfortunately clatters loudly to himself once a Unebeneheit is passed - thus quasi constantly. Although there are two rubber rings available to help keep this effect. But this work, unfortunately, only for a few kilometers. But after a short time to move the rings back to the top and the clatter begins again.
This should include noise-sensitive contemporaries necessarily in its decision, therefore a disappointment can be avoided. Me personally it bothers only conditionally. Nevertheless, I believe that this could be constructively avoided with a little care and therefore draw from another point.
Otherwise, the lock is thoroughly recommended - after all, it is one of the best, VDS-tested and thus recognized by insurance locks. One point that was decisive for the purchase decision. Those who would rather not rattle transported his castle in the backpack, which may be thought full 5 points. ;-)
