In a family with several allergies (house dust mites and primarily), I have used this purifier in various parts of the house. I admit to not having enough perspective on the real effect of the device, but it is clear that one "feels" that the air is different as entering a purified room: atmosphere a little fresher and absence of odor. This is quite palpable, and a bit surprising at first. Another good point: consumption, between 6 and 86W is frankly not much, bravo!
Only default fan "silent" is not that much, even at its slowest speed. Too bad.
