1. The Star-Spangled Banner: Okay to use has the sense or nonsense make US anthem as an intro is debatable. The guitars make things really interesting ... but is quite dispensable
2. Declaration Day: The first song begins a little sluggish, not uptempo song, but topped with a chorus that eats its way into the brain.
3. When the eagle cries: the good of the most talked about song on the CD. For me, the song caused goosebumps. This is probably because that one is aware of how many innocent people in the attack and died later. And I'm not just talking about the Americans. Ambiguous song but musically awesome
4. The Reckoning: Just awesome ... fast, hard, yelling and ultra-catchy. So should sound power metal!
5. Green Face: I love this song. Features a super simple refrain that simply performs the vocal performance from Tim Owens to a big grin.
6. Attila: Now there is something oriental. The next brilliant song. The screams at the end of the choruses are simply great.
7. Red Baron / Blue Max: My favorite. Quickie with a catchy chorus and a ultra-great midsection. As you press like the Retry button
8. Hollow Man: It is a little quieter. The song is very dark, which offers a great chorus. According to crank up and sing along here is the motto
9. Valley Forge: too awesome ... quiet early, but then increases in a super heavy metal song
10. Waterloo: No "Waterloo", but a brilliant piece of music. The setting of the story of Napoleon's super successful.
11. When The Eagle Cries: The whole as acoustics. Lyrically, exactly the same as Song 3, but I find the actual song better ...
After the "regular" songs now follows the Gettysburg epic. I have to admit in all honesty, I skip the songs mostly. Somehow ignites the whole not really for me. Are definitely brilliant pieces, but I find it too tiring. Please forgive me :-)
Overall, the album for every heavy metal fan is recommended with the urge for history beyond measure. If that whole thing is too theatrical or war-glorifying, should make a detour around the album. All others should risikieren an ear.
