I took before the LGP Lite product AVerMedia: The Live Gamer HD (not the Lite version).
Unfortunately started here since the change to a new sound card, sound problems when shooting.
As this situation for Let's Plays was unsuitable and I was more than satisfied with Avermedia up to this point, so I looked around for the latest developments.
I already knew the Live Gamer Portable, but to me the charge for "free PC Mode" and SD slot, and AV connection was too high because I wanted to use only for the PC anyway.
Fortunately, here has stated at the Lite version of the LGP and just improved this point from my personal point of view and thus also driven the price down Avermedia.
The LGP is unimpressive, but it has yet to be, because in comparison with pure caputre tools like Fraps DxTory or influenced a capture card, the FPS number when playing against 0. The utilization by writing the data stream and processing by AVerMedia software is of no consequence.
The LGP Lite has integrated easily with me and in ReCentral (Avermedia Software for capture cards), I can now at any time switchen Gamer HD and the LGP Lite between my live.
The recordings are wonderful (I assume with maximum settings in the software) and the files thanks to MP4 compression is not nearly as large as the uncompressed data in Fraps or DxTory.
Theoretically, one would have to expect that the quality will suffer greatly, but this is not the case. The recordings are great for Let's Plays despite compression.
The advantage of the LGP Lite to my old Live Gamer HD is flexibility. I can without problems even my Xbox One Connect without having to crawl under the table to the PC, as the Live Gamer HD compared is a PCIe card yes.
In addition, a exterene solution as the LGP Lite is not as strong with electromagnetic interference in the PC of other hardware (sound card, graphics card, etc.) to fight here just my old Live Gamer HD is unfortunately a disadvantage and had made these basic soft unfortunately ,
Conclusion:
The LGP Lite is the perfect solution to games on the PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360 take us Playstation 4. The software is self-explanatory and support in an emergency with a wizard or can adjust all alone in professional mode, as live streaming are possible to twitch and Co.
For me the perfect capture solution for Let's Plays.
PS the HDMI Delay should fail generally very low at Avermedia according to various tests, but I get around this by an HDMI splitter.
