Since I generally software on USB sticks or similar equipment do not use, I have placed here not care. I want to only exchange data between PCs.
Therefore, now to the actual core of the sticks. I've decided to format the stick first with NTFS. This format is indeed meant to be used for hard disks, convinced me but currently still in the compatibility. FAT32 can only handle a maximum of 4GB large files, which can be so used in this drive before the largest elimination criterion. The relatively new exFAT file system addresses this barrier and should be faster, but has the problem that it is not backward compatible. Thus, if you embarrass get to a computer, the older operating systems used as XP (without the exFAT update), 98 or MAC to put this stick, you can get a long face. That's why I use NTFS, as it has both no file size limit, and is also compatible.
Now for the interesting data.
The speed test with H2testw v1.4 gave the following values:
Total data transferred: 15185 MB
Write rate: 12.3 MB / s
Read rate: 24.2 MB / s
The complete writing has therefore lasted 20:38 min. The complete reading 10:28 min.
The test with HD Tune 2:55 gave the following data:
Average transfer rate: 24.1 MB / sec
Access Time: 0.7ms
Burst rate: 22.7 MB / sec
For a USB stick in this price range with the size so a really good result, in my opinion.
Since I have to stick only a few hours in the possession, I can not say a lot about the reliability. At least there were no problems when connecting :)
Very convenient is also the format of the device. Unlike some other models, no problems in confined spaces should occur here. The stick is a total of only 1 cm wider than the USB port itself (ie on the left and right side of the terminal 0.5 cm)
Therefore, on my part: buy recommendation!
