Stephen Baxter failed to resist the urge to continue the adventure of "Flood" - it does not however resumed exactly where he had left us. Halfway the total flood, he decorates the suite of new characters that are central to the plot of the "Ark". "Flood" had already outlined in dots ken line what would become of humanity after the flood - the ark of Lammokson, we know, will not last long. Other solutions were chosen: among these, a handful of candidates, handpicked, will ship in space in order to find a new Earth and colonize. If the issue of community life in isolation and hostile environment is still good given, it is mainly the description of the end of the land area that is striking. In this book, Baxter still leaves few avenues to explore for a third volume: the different choice of evolution of humanity to survive the hostile environment adaptation and the butterfly effect. Themes dear to the author - we did not complain.
