After I came to prepare a lecture on Graphene (a monatomic layer of carbon) to this book by Edwin A. Abbott, I have ordered the same to me. Through my studies I have a certain affinity with mathematical logic topics and I loved this book very much. The reflection of Gesallschaftsordnung of Victorian England to the geometric shapes of a two-dimensional world, told with a snappy humor, makes this a must-have for scientists. But my girlfriend (literature student) was very amused when reading this work.
