Delivery
The flat screen TV was delivered well secured in a relatively narrow cardboard box. Due to its low weight, the TV can also be seen easily from the packaging alone. In addition to the TV device contains the following items are packed in:

Installation and commissioning
The television is actually set up very quickly and ready for use. First you mounted the pedestal. This is simply inserted without screws into the TV. Next, you connect the unit to a signal source, either cable or satellite. The cables required for this are not included and must be purchased separately! In my case, I use the built-in TV set top box. To this end, a coaxial cable from the LNB of the dish, or the multi-switch is simply connected directly to the flat screen TV. An external satellite receiver is not required! Next, you connect the TV with the power cord and turn on the device.
When you first start you will be asked which language, and select the source (cable or satellite). Next, the tuning starts automatically. After a few minutes of these has been completed and it will automatically appear the transmitter First HD.
Picture and sound
The Samsung UE32H5090 has a LED backlight panel with a screen size of 80cm. The picture quality is good in and of itself, but I had some initial settings for image optimization make. The colors seemed to start too vigorously and unnatural. The contrast was too strong for my taste set. But after some trial and error in the image settings I was quite happy with the result. The TV picture at HD channels is absolutely sharp and clear, but also the SD channels look very good.
The sound quality is not convincing in this TV unfortunately. The sound is very flat. Particularly high and especially very low-pitched sounds are poorly reproduced. At low volume is still bearable. If you turn the volume up a bit, it sounds tinny quickly. Whoever has the opportunity should hear the sound through a stereo system or soundbar. A soundbar, amplifier or AV receiver can be connected with an optical Toslink cable to the TV.
Service
Who ever had a Samsung flat screen TV, which can be found in this deal immediately. The operation is very simple and the menu is very clear. In the menu screen and sound can make, as well as edit the channel list. Options such as 3D, smart features and network connectivity has not the TV. Included is a remote control. Unfortunately, this is very awkward and clunky acting. Fortunately, I still have more Samsung remote control, which are better in the hand and also work on the device.
You can connect a USB flash drive and access files on videos and music through a side-mounted USB port.
Connections
The Samsung actually has all the necessary ports. Laterally there are 2 HDMI ports for BluRay player, set top box, satellite receiver external, or AV receiver. A CI + slot for CI + modules. This is particularly interesting if you want to use on the internal satellite receiver HD +. In addition, there is still a side coax connector for cable tv. On the back are additionally an optical Toslink connection, satellite connection, as well as a Scart socket.
So you can fix the flat screen TV on a wall, the device has a standardized VESA 200mm rear screw.
General
The TV is of course not a high-end device. In 3D and Internet (Smart TV) must be abandoned. The design is neat, but not very high. For the reasonable price of course you can not expect a carefully selected glass or aluminum housing. The weight of Samsung TVs is approximately 5 kilos.
All in all I am very happy with the flat screen TV. The price-performance ratio is right. I would buy the TV again!
