not suitable for flake food

In principle, this feeding machine is a nice touch. Can be equipped with the described types of forage.
Equipping with flake food turns out to be quite tricky. And there's always next time what.
On the problem is this, if food falls behind the dish. Here cleaning is almost impossible, and the food is slowly but surely working its way into the derailleurs. The increased humidity bind with time rigidities etc. within the plant. This leads sooner or later to failure. For me, the things held less than 2 years. Did they then disassembled and with me was always food in the internal cause of the failure of the machine.

Since I only feed tabs with this feeding machine, I have no more problems. The current I now since about 4 years of service.
Flake food can be much better fed with other feeding machines. For this food I use for years an additional Eheim Automatic feeding device and am totally satisfied with this combination.

Conclusion: for tablets and chips Top, for flakes flop.
