"Need for Speed - Most Wanted" is my first Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2. Since the underground parts I could not make friends quite me, because that simply was not what I had hoped for from the series. So I would like, however, by no means say that Underground 1 and 2 would have been bad - they met just not my taste. The new part, however, hats done to me quite in the first few days. In principle, the whole thing is so similar to the two predecessors built: buy car, thick "pimp" race win, pimp car and so on. Times expressed very roughly. Of course, the game offers a wide selection of licensed vehicles. From VW Golf GTI on a lot of Japanese to the Carrera GT (or GT1, unfortunately I have the right not just in the head) or BMW M3 GTR is just about everything available to mobile pedestals, which you could wish for. The game motivates with a large, freely navigable city, really tasty graphics, excellent staging and matching background music of well-known bands and solo artists. The player starts with a BMW M3 GTR, which he, however, after the race against the number 15 - has lost the blacklist, must submit to this - short and concise "Razor". End of the story is that Razor highly works with exactly this car to the top of the Blacklist. As the player, of course, an invoice with it has open, he must now step by step up fight to finally go all decisive race against Razor allowed. Along the way, however, the 14 other Blacklist driver waiting for a worthy challenge. However, to one of these drivers, starting with # 15, challenge, you have to first fulfill some predetermined conditions. These include a certain number won the race, reaching milestones (which can be reached eg by wild chases with the police) and a specific bounty that must be exposed to the players. Race there in various versions that standard race times I let the outside before - this is only to be told that you win or lose either. Second or third place does not apply. Tollbooths race: This one takes alone. In principle, it is a simple checkpoint races. In other words, you have to go through at a certain time the next tollbooth on the track and get in that moment a time bonus. Has lost one if not mans creates time - somehow logical) Blitzer race: Here you have a few counterparties. On the racetrack Blitzer are placed at specific points that must be traversed at the highest possible speed. The speeds are added together at the end and who had the highest overall rate plan, has won ... well, almost. One should also pay attention still on it that you get finishing line first, because it - depending on the course - are point deductions and so you lose the first place seemed to be sure under certain circumstances. Round KO: The last thrown out after each round. At the end there is virtually a duel. Drag races: Here gets mans to do with a manual transmission, but it has to take care of the control is not really. So far I have not yet participated in any drag races, so I can not say precisely this. Sprint race: I have also not yet been made, however, goes well therefore to come as quickly as possible from one point to another. And now the reason for the heading: One constantly has the feeling of being a little kidding from the manufacturer with every part. In Need for Speed 6 (Hot Pursuit 2) gabs quite hot car chases with the police. In Need for Speed Underground and Underground 2, although there was a very nice Tuning Part, but it could be seen far and wide no police (illegal street racing scene and no police - is so similar to a steak with Nutella). In addition, the game played only at night - there was no race day. In Need for Speed 9 (ie "Most Wanted") there is a great Tuning Part, finally police but instead ... no night race. Everything takes place during the day. This is now of course no knockout argument, since the game is otherwise absolutely super, but creeps me somehow feel that EA intentionally these features out resumes to make to live the series. Whats the next Need for Speed? Maybe night and Tagrennen, police but for no tuning Part? I'm curious ... Short yet to control: The very "arcadig" designed to say you get used to it very quickly. With the keyboard sichs however moves pretty vague, since the car sometimes is somewhat sensitive to one key press - sometimes you do not manage to go from a curve to a straight line and align (due to the clunky keypad control) the car parallel to the road, because there or left with any. Legal pressure a bit too nervous rumhibbelt. Better therefore a steering wheel (think I should fold) procure or connect with an adapter a PS2 controller to the PC. However, this is not a big fracture, because the keyboard controller can live for quite. Total of me 4 stars because the game really fucking great fun despite the control weaknesses and the strange feature carousel of EA in recent parts the NFS series.
