The mouse was "cordless" not detected when reconnecting to the computer.
You must be connected only with the supplied cable and happy you are cordless.
The advanced driver you have to but from the Logitech site download only (not supplied).
The USB BT adapter can be placed with an extension on the desk, but slide down quickly. I fixed him with double-sided carpet tape.
First impression: it is (to me) to light, but is also good for small hands in his hand.
That is very easy, even the subtle motion of the hand are translated into mouse movements.
However, by default, the mouse sometimes delayed (cordless) seem to respond.
You can adjust the sensitivity via keystrokes but until it fits. She also responds appropriately. For a laser mouse with the resolution, however, not precise enough. As delivered my old MX1000 seen better results,
The scroll wheel is either scanned or freely operated (adjustment knob directly behind the scroll wheel).
This button protrudes when setting free but far out. This can interfere.
As a standard AA battery is inserted NiMH rechargeable battery. This is sufficient for office use up to 3 days. Playing them is but leergelutscht quickly. Thankfully, the battery is replaceable by a trapdoor. So you can do without the cable. That you should even if you have a good charging station, because the battery does not age as quickly and is better loaded as anm cable.
The battery status is indicated with LEDs on the left side. From 3 grünnen up to a red flashing.
If one bears in mind the battery is already "very quickly empty". The fact is, if the red LED lights up only 1/3 of the capacity of the battery is approximately available. However, you can still carry on 2 to 3 hours.
The additional keys are well positioned to reach them with a good hand, but they are not even in the way (no faulty operation).

Conclusion:
The G700 is obsolete for me, a hermaphrodite. Corded and cordless they can not really shine in both worlds. Therefore only 3 stars.
My ancient MX1000 was accurate and held within one month on a single charge and was great in spite of its hefty weight in the Game.
A corded as the old legendary MX518 is more precise, better balanced from Gwicht and cheaper.
Austarierbar better, but as the MX518 hard to get the G500 with its weights noich.
However, the insider's tip for a cordless me is the G602, a price range below. With 2 AAA batteries I run it already 6 months, the part is super accurate, but the side buttons are not so well placed. It is a little harder, but by better feasible.
