although I was skeptical of some reviews, I bought the Delamax Flash and Umbrella Holder at my photo Berlin.
Did not expect much, but was very pleasantly surprised.
The entire Flash and Umbrella Holder of Delamax is made of metal, only the wing of the screws are made of plastic. The flash is pushed onto a variable metal slide and attaches securely. In a review I've read that the flash can not be secure not sure with the fastening screw; This I can not confirm. Quite in contrary, as the foot of my dear System flash (Metz mecablitz 44 AF-1) is made of plastic, must be more careful not too strong to attract the fixing bolt of lightning rail or damaging the flash foot.
The screen mount is solid. At least my screen (84 cm with double fabric) is securely held. The hole for the screen is not round but rather conical. This ensures that the umbrella rod is pressed when screwing in the tip portion of the cone and takes better grip.
The Spigot recording is ok. The Flash and Umbrella Holder can be securely mounted on a tripod. An additional plus: it included an attachment for a normal tripod thread.
The tilt function has a catch, which I personally find very good. The locking screw of the tilt function fulfilled their task, a number could be interpreted more. But honestly, all screws are tightened always slam? I do not think so, because after coming from fixed :-)
So I am completely satisfied and would buy this Flash and Umbrella Eiger as a private photographer at any time.
Greetings and Ciao

Addendum: as I have noted today, the Neiger also offers the possibility of the hot shoe 90 twisted (ie perpendicular) to attach. This is especially important for flash units that build up (Elephant Ear), very handy as the flash when it is for swiveling, can be placed close to the middle. So even an additional Plus!
