First, let me say that I have always benefited from the recession here, so I wanted / need help sometimes. I take pictures since about 18 years mainly Nikon, absolute hobby. My last was the SLR D7000. Now wants to change due to the size and weight to a camera system. Due to the numerous tests and reports came the election on the Fuji X-M1. The picture quality here still highly praised. So now to my experiences. The image quality is absolutely perfect, here is the Fuji can loosely compete with DSLRs. Also the noise performance is outstanding. Much better than my old D7000. Here I could forgive easy 5 stars. Even the small flash convinced. No overexposure perfect skin tones even at close range. The trick is that you can turn the flash with your finger backwards so as to flash overhead. This also works great. Operation is simple and self-explanatory. The menu clearly. Reaching the rotary wheels well and operate. On the whole additional functions such as WLAN, filters, effects I can not go because I have not tested this. Now the shadows: The autofocus is really slow and absolutely not suitable for subjects that move quickly (rennendes child), even in low light has to face these problems sharp even fixed motives. This has already been tested for example when Chip.de already criticized. My finding was that the auto focus in the automatic program was faster than the M mode. The kit lens and the housing feel for me at very cheap. Of course this is a purely subjective feeling. At the front housing leather imitation could easily push this and it creaked a little. In this price range for me unacceptable. Therefore, I have the camera now sent back. I will nevertheless remain in Fuji and I look at the next higher models. Since me the image quality, sharpness and noise performance are extremely convincing. Hope to have you helped a bit.
