Okay to be times, stop. Device I unpacked, studying description, connected, cleaned, made espresso.
After about the tenth Espresso at last I had found the optimum freeness formed when coffee draw a puddle on my desktop. Quickly off the machine and mopped, it was a whole lot of water and quite hot.
After root cause analysis. Result: how fortunate that I'm right-handed. The boiling hot water comes while coffee is being brewed from the steam nozzle well seems the T-valve to be broken. The steam nozzle is seen by me from the right, so was my left hand, with which I have supported me on the work surface, intact.
So in luck that nothing happened to me. In the reviews I noticed already that some people have problems with water puddles under the unit several leaks are thus not an isolated case. Just stupid, that such a leak at an electrical device can have serious consequences, even more stupid that the water is hot and you can scald.
I will return the unit immediately and Amazon a) of this incident and b) on the attempt to Distance Selling Act and to bypass the Amazon's own guidelines. The latter I find particularly bold because it still needed a test to find out that this device is absolutely not what I expected.
Too bad, because the last espresso, I could cook was pretty tasty.
Best wishes, Martin
