About 4 weeks ago, I have now bought the Cat Activity Fun Board ". It has the great advantage that it can be put in the dishwasher easy and it's completely clean and hygienic again. The self-made boards from wood, cardboard, plastic , etc. are there to make a lot more difficult clean. Over time, it unfortunately a breeding ground for bacteria and germs. As I and my cat but not want to give up new Fummel boards, I'm just doing what from very simple materials (rolls of toilet paper, boxes , ...). After a while I throw the then away and make a new one.
So now but for Cat Activity Fun Board ": It consists of 5 modules, which are arranged in an area of 30x40cm.
The tongue module can be equipped with wonderful wet food, etc. Malzpaste. My cat likes eg no pies. But if I in this module segment passing pate, he licked the empty always within a few minutes.
When ball module I was initially excited about his reaction because the transparent container represent an additional challenge for cats. My cat has got it right away but the same, where the opening is to get at his treats.
The tunnel element is intended to stimulate the mouse hole effect. My cat has indeed never seen a mouse, let alone a mouse hole, but he had the same inside his paws.

Personally, I am now gone over to feed the dry food exclusively through the Board. My cat always goes back down to pick up 2 -3 pieces, he thereby enters between the modules as it pleases him straight. Only the PTO module, it can be more, but here the sense of achievement is rarely the first time. But my hangover finally is always the path of least resistance.
I would recommend the Board unconditionally! It is best to combine it in between with homemade boards to your cat with something new to ask. I am glad that I have finally found an intelligent toy that mentally asks my cat and also trains its skill.
