After the BDP 7600 was now available at last, I immediately slammed through Amazon.
Small criticism for shipping: though I knew that the player will only be shipped in the original box, I'm a little disappointed about it generally.
Under favorable "indestructible" things an overpack is used in a technically sensitive device not .... but anyway, this is just on the edge, everything's gone well.
After unpacking, I found the price difference to BDT 111 more than justified. The Philips is processed just-quality and I like it also visually well. A simpler optics would certainly fit better with the rest of the equipment, but I find the design still very good. The FB I find not bad.
The connection was seamless. I have the player connected via cable to the Internet, because the offer for me and I do not unnecessary "wants to hunt all the rays through the air".
Then first 2 small damper:
after 2 times on (Header) go to the player and after that I did not come into the net. Short again cut the power connection and since everything works well, even if I turn off the player completely.
The picture quality of Blu-Ray is great for me, and the extrapolation of DVD's work well-very well. Quiet here the picture is, however, (edges) if you choose the original resolution and extrapolate the TV. But I am also not yet with all the settings.
Operating noise: very quiet !!! Because the BDT was 111 significantly louder.
clear, when reading so you can hear a little bit, but in actual use I hear nothing.
So I'm really happy:
Why only 4 stars? Bothers me that the standby light is very bright and you can not completely turn off the player.
and finally:
I hear also said cheeping in standby mode (because I have to go very close ran!). But I do not want a negative vote. Devices stop noise! All in all, the players very quiet, compared to other devices anyway.
For 3D and playing all sorts of file formats via USB so I can (still) do not say anything. That to me is also not very important, because I'm going to provide the device with primary pieces of silver.
Net TV I have a little getestet.Teilweise very great image quality on my 50 "plasma. Above all, the app" Ladykracher "me entertain additionally well :-)
I do not regret the purchase and can live well with the device. Visually and qualitatively the BDP would have liked better 9600, but also costs 2.5 times as much and as it anyway again tweaked in 1-2 years, it's okay :-)
currently Feb. 2012
have the latest up-date up-played and since then there is trouble with Net TV. The player hang themselves like out, does not respond properly ... because often helps just pull the plug. Although for me is primarily important that he plays pieces of silver tidy (what he does too!), For others but also like the additional features to be important.
For me, actually 4 stars for others maybe only 2 ... therefore there is a 3!
July 2013: now only 2 points.
NET TV is not stable, the player hangs happy times on or reacts slowly no longer up to "commands" of the FB.
Unfortunately, no new update more ... is apparently no longer deemed necessary by Philips. A great pity, because if the player is running, it makes a great picture.
Had I actually hoped that the service of Philips would be more sustainable.
Device I would no longer buy.
