The helmet camera made by Rollei not only looks almost like its predecessor the GoPro but can even keep up without any problems in terms of technology! The highest resolution is 1920 × 1080i (interlaced) with fast 60 frames per second. However, 120 frames per second are possible only with a resolution of 848 × 480 pixels. But what makes the Bullet then to a direct competitor for the GoPro? - The price / performance ratio !!
The GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition is and accessories currently about 650. No bargain if you only occasionally want to film a bike tour, or the like.
And this is where the Bullet HD 5S comes into play.
As a complete package with two batteries, a removable display, remote control and many other accessories, the purchase price is just at about 280. So if you can do without a fake 4K resolution and do not necessarily want to record video at 120 frames in Full HD, but 60 frames the second is already satisfied, this can save a considerable amount. In addition, the bullet itself has a normal Tripod made by Rollei at the camera body. Thus, the small camera without problems can be combined with any tripod. This can be a significant advantage in many situations!
Of course, the Bullet HD 5S can at this low price technically not keep up with the latest GoPro 100%, however, should be carefully considered before buying the latest GoPro what you want to set the focus when shooting. For semi-professional recordings in the hobby and leisure sector, this variant of an action camera is sufficient. I even use it for some time and have already filmed with a GoPro. Personally, I can only say that I miss any features, and tripod mount love!
Price / performance ratio is therefore absolutely top!
