Packaging and First Impression:
One word: quality! The stylish cardboard made her quite a bit and the headphones are very well used in a plastic inlay that slipping impossible on transport. But if one keeps these headphones in hand one thinks at first, I now actually OnEars or InEars in his hands. The flyweight but everything else feels as cheap, it starts with the Stoffumwobenen cable (I already know of the Logitech G9 series) with gold contacts at, goes over the padded Stetch-head mount to the enclosed with softest leather ear pads. The built-in technology is state of the art, design and trendy color timeless.
Comfort and service:
Perched convey the headphones a relatively well shielded from external noise listening. A drawback is that in many carrying position or when walking the left earphone (on which the cable is installed) something creaks. However, this depends on the seat of the headphone and after a short time the sound is weaker or disappear altogether. The great thing about this sequel to the SHO9560 is in the details. The built-in microphone and the built-in wired remote control. I have tested it on a Samsung Galaxy Nexus and iPhone 4, and in both it worked without problems. Call quality is slightly muffled but understandable. Especially with an expensive smart phone it's annoying when you always have to bring it to operate out of his pocket, and as a remote control comes as located. It consists of a head and a slider. With songs paused or you start with a push of a button, press 2x and the song jumps to one in front after, press 3x and the song returns. If a call arrive finished the song and automatically by pressing a button you take the call, another ends the call and the song starts again at the stopped position. Use the slider to control the volume. Since the regulator does not allow easy slide and the button is recessed is inadvertent operation is not expected. Nevertheless, both are easy to feel through tiny increases and easy to control without a direct view.
Sound and input settings:
Astrein and Strong! I was already more significant musical enjoyment of the EX70 usual, but the Philips O'Neill put me in a me previously unknown music perception. Electronic / Drum & Bass, where the deep, powerful bass hammering jazz / classical to punk and metal, where the central and tweeters everything is demanded and this demanded the knotless and clearly reflect. If additionally a decent equalizer is used irritates you from the slumbering reserves, the result is bombastic. Tip: Simply adjust the EQ Equalizer on Android mobile 3D effect (the iPhone as the 3D Music Player Pro) -> Absolutely crazy! I can only advise everyone, you should try to get the SHO9565 once, definitely listen!
Price and Conclusion:
The price is in my opinion justified. For comparison, my InEar`s Sony have cost nearly 10 years ago around 80. I am completely satisfied with the Philips O`Neill SHO9565 and use it daily. I would recommend them to anyone, even less ambitious listeners. They make just fun to wear because the listening experience is fantastic and they are not uncomfortable to wear even after hours. TOP product and therefore from me the full 5 stars!
