Contrary to the product description, only the enclosed battery Ayex by the company. The battery grip is from the company Pixel Enterprise Limited, a Chinese manufacturer.
Positives:
+ Good workmanship, to discover any errors
+ No plastic odor (my last battery grip smelled strongly of plastic for several weeks)
+ Housing the removed battery cover possible
+ Trigger analog 5DIII
+ No annoying third party present Logo
Negatives:
- The supplied batteries the company are not recommended Ayex. The original Canon Battery had after 250 trips and various other use (view photos) even 60%.
The Ayex batteries (same mAh) after 120 were tripping (two batteries in the handle, cast. 240 trips) and without further use already (both) at 60%. That's too weak!
- Camera Joystick reacts worse than the original joystick.
- Dial a little too easy
- The locking wheel for attaching the handle is in the tightened state some slack and wobbles back and forth slightly
In addition, I noticed that the battery charge indicator (on the info display as well as in battery-information) after several hours of non-use again indicates 100% and after several trips has selected the correct charge level.
But here I have no comparison to the original battery grip. So does not necessarily lie on the handle.
Conclusion: Anyone who wants to save can also access the replica. However, I would individually under control and ensure more decent buy batteries!
