Buy rating on the Philips Sonicare brush so only with regard to cleaning effect and gingival protection.
One should only previously be aware that does not last forever ... the joy - so there is probably this hand parts offered here as "spare parts" to the other accessories that one can use without problem.
Addendum October + November 2013:
After 9 and 10 months use both brushes were - despite careful treatment - consecutively broken!
The defect expressed each initially by problems on or off the brush and when changing the programs. Then independent switching was added at two brushes at rest. After that, the brushes were each no longer charge or not turn and were ultimately not used.
As far as the annoying thing about this situation.
After calling the Philips Consumer Hotline Hamburg both brushes were replaced respectively by mail within a few days to guarantee free! The employees of the Hotline were in both cases, very friendly, helpful and solution-oriented. One had the feeling that the customer satisfaction is the top priority. This outstanding service makes the initial anger but then forget rather quickly. (That's why no deduction of stars for the really good toothbrush)
Addendum 2 - JULY 2014:
Unfortunately, even with this ehem. Topmodell (warranty replacement unit) after exactly 9 months the same problem as in the Addendum October 2013 described again.
Total failure with the same symptoms!
Try it now with the new 'Sonicare HX6510 / 22 People's toothbrush ", which is to have much more favorable.
Let's see if Philips has since been improving on the quality of the components or on the basic design in Device inside ...
(The so-called. Replacement-hand parts of the HX6910 / 6930 here are by now become outrageously expensive, considering the lousy long-term quality ...)
