Looking for a good mechanical keyboard for the office I stumbled upon the K1. The Tastaur convinced me to buy due to the compact dimensions, the mechanical keys and the USB hub. He's not the fastest, but at times from and to plugs to a digital camera, mobile phone or NEN USB stick but always sufficient. By using Cherry MX Black keys has no audible noise when typing. The force needed to press the button gets harder with every millimeter depth. - In the office I wanted to work colleagues expect no ping pong Click keyboard, as I have at home (advantage there Das Keyboard III) The volume is acceptable, if you down rammed the keys to nich on the caseback. The course feedback, what you get at a keyboard with Blue or Brown swiches is another, but you can also get used to the Blacks.
All in all a successful keyboard - but I unfortunately had to return again, because my sizes of CTRL / ALT / Windows have not promised keys on the left and I did not want to get used. Pressing Shortcuts has always thrown me with this keyboard out of the river, because the buttons are flat narrower than on a keyboard with standard dimensions. - For so I'm going to grab a probably, either it is a G80 Cherry or Steel 6Gv2.
