Even after so many years, this album is a milestone of jazz. One of my first jazz records (vinyl) was precisely this album and I was just blown away by this mixture of Nordic cool saxophone of Jan Garbarek and the explosive piano of Keith Jarrett. Next to this the fantastic rhythm section with Palle Danielsson and Jon Christensen - an incredible quartet! In 1975 (1976-?), I had the great fortune to live in the Jan Garbarek Molde Jazz Festival to hear in his home country and see. Unfortunately, no longer played Keith Jarrett on piano, but Bobo Stenson. Although my more expressive style of piano playing of Keith Jarrett better liked, it was one of my best concerts, especially as the audience stood at a packed auditorium of Molde on the seats and cheered, especially in the pieces of this very album. This music for 35 years later has lost none of its fascination. Re-recorded as a CD of the sound has more nor won anything since crackle and noise are minimized. This is simply a piece of cream of jazz music and should be in every collection. Highly Recommended!
