Far from the style - sometimes daunting for the less assertive players - Antigone of Sophocles, this contemporary version brings a new look at the myth of Oedipus. Jean Anouilh makes here a truly splendid performance: resume the work of a very talented author, without distorting it. The reader can easily identify with the characters, the reading is easy and embellished with numerous humorous effects (anachronisms, ... irony). In my view, not to be missed.
