Since this was my first switch, I could get up and running all right, despite my slight knowledge of networking.
LAN cable in, finished.
Although I needed only 2 ports, I have decided for this switch.
Especially since TP-Link is a trademark, of the quality I expect, even if the price is not necessarily high, and in the event, if you still need one or the other port.
I was disappointed in any way.
Note, however, that the switch is pretty easy. A heavy and rigid patch cable has no problem to draw it or to decline in the level, if it is located on an edge.
But that is just a minor thing. The switch is, straight and flat, on the shelf and send my data to the router, so that I can write this review.
For those who want to know how I use the device:
As mentioned above, the switch connects our router with two computers, the so gain access to the Internet.
It occurs to me straight, you'll actually create a local area network, so as to have access to the computers to each other (eg LAN parties). I have not tried this, however. But I see no reason why this should not work. This is done nowadays indeed a switch (previously we used a hub), as far as I know.
I have read that some switches ensure that will be forfeited at speed.
Small counterexample: I Planetside 2 in a half day completely downloaded (8.8 GB). Also during the game I spühre no delays on the part of the Internet connection. Only my reaction speed ensures frustration. A little tip for those who play the game at high graphics settings: Sets the grass from the opponent's pigs can be seen hardly ever. : P
Conclusion: As in the review, there is not much to say. This is a top product that does what is expected of him. that's the way it has to be!
