And this is the case. First with its range of 28-112, the Olympus actually fills my expectations every day. Furthermore, the device proves quite complete from the standpoint of options whether for a savvy user or for the neophyte. For example, in auto mode, settings options are simplified and the unit offers `flow settings relative to the background 'rather than talk of openness. It also offers a wide range of theatrical and artistic modes, ranging from landscape picture to the photo of your pet, or sepia for dramatic.
An interesting innovation is the adjustment wheel at the goal. No it does not serve you to adjust the focus, but rather to vary the main setting mode where you are. For example, priority mode at the opening, you can easily go from f1.8 to f8.0.
For interior photos, as the objective is for taking photos under very low light. Also the flash has enough settings to soften its effect.
Qualities:
+ Brightness and lens quality
+ Colour rendering
+ OLED Screen with real time histogram display
+ Compact (relative to G1X)
What I miss or I did not like:
- No possibility of AEL (AutoExposure Lock).
- Lack of a viewfinder. An electronic viewfinder (VF-2) very good quality is optional but it is very expensive.
- Noise from 1600ISO pronounced. But it is true that with such a bright lens one has not often need.
