Martin says it himself. He wrote too much and had to divide the 4th band on two books. The division takes Martin ago under the POV characters. The additional pages are supposed to be a cause for celebration, but unfortunately grabs Martin seemingly all the boring characters in this book, and all the interesting characters in the next book. The result is unfortunately consistent: The chapters are often lengthy, the plot is little progress. Overall, it is a weak point. An aftertaste remains: Maybe Martin did not make it, as planned to develop the story and put off his readers with this gap filler. From the next part, I expect not only a frenzied action, but also a piece of reparation for 1000 pages boredom. Please, please, please, let it be an exception this book!
