I use this adapter to attend a graphics card (GTX 570 Phantom) with DisplayPort output an Apple LED Cinema Display 24-inch (1920x1200) to operate. So I can use my Cinema Display to my Mac Pro 2009 with a normal Windows graphics card. Technically processing provides the adapter now not as great as Apple accessories, but okay. All in all I would recommend this adapter.
