For many years I was a loyal cable Germany customer, now finally I switched to satellite TV and most regret not having done it much earlier. The quality of HD broadcasts is satellite really unique, I knew from my cable-times not know that such a thing is possible. And the Panasonic Blu-Ray recorder is the perfect complement to archive recordings. When I record HD broadcasts and then burn to a Blu-ray disc, fit four broadcasts a 2h on a Blu-ray Disc (in the quality HX) - and I can almost no difference in the image quality to a buy-BD notice. At current prices of about 2,50Euro for BD high quality (eg. Verbatim Printable BD / 25Stk. Package) at a quite reasonable price. Even normal XP recordings of TV program are significantly better than my earlier recordings by cable TV on my DVD recorder and can also be burned without problems on normal DVDs. Cuts own filming the BD recorder unfortunately is hardly suitable, but I have not bought it - that I'll do better with my PC. Too bad he can not make any BD-film copies. But otherwise it can do (often better) what the DVD recorder also can. And, moreover, can be pictures in breathtaking quality read directly from the SD card and display. I was skeptical and am fully satisfied now - there is no alternative to this device.
SUPPLEMENTARY at 5:10:12: I now discovered that the recorder BD copies of own can make shots - not from third-party devices such as. a PC. But if you have added a program of the recorder, you can again move back to the hard drive (if you have that maybe there been deleted) and then burn any new.
