Optical well done - but still disappointing

In this game, I am very divided with regard to the overall impression. For a graphic representation and the sound are very good, on the other hand obscures the campaign duty at least my enthusiasm.
As Ferrarifan and casual PS3 gamers it was kind of compulsory pre-order the game and also to play the same.
After inserting, the mandatory firmware update installation and a long (but this is something of almost every new PS3 game) we went off.
The menu impressed by Tasteful presentation and on a musical soundtrack.
To test it then went off in the arcade mode. Since then the first small disappointment 4 'in words FOUR' cars to choose from and two routes. Little choice for the beginning, but one wants to make familiar first.
Cars and train selected freely. Very nice graphical representation, not perfect but still very nice and tasteful, and the sound of vehicles comes across very close to reality, actually 4-5 * value.
When driving you quickly realize the track is reproduced very realistically, displaying the optimum line and braking points is' as long as you this because quite precisely drives also well done, even if the braking points are not necessarily perfect, sometimes a bit too early for a curve later a little too late. But we know the track a little bit then you got along well. The control means controller is reasonably accurate, not perfect but to act well, so you very quickly get a feel for the car and the driving behavior.
If you want to try something and driving more, you go in the campaign, in which you can select between the early, the middle and the modern era.
At first it hits really well, almost too well, because the time trial on unknown routes to be completed immediately upon reaching the bonus objective in the 'easy' mode.
Suddenly, the level rises abruptly, you drive a distance 10 times, and still does not fit a detail and you have to reboot to get slightly off the track, disqualified; to get unfavorable from the graph, the enemy is more than 3 seconds before, or or or. '
The longer you have to practice for a mission, the less desire to play keeps you (at least for me as a casual gamer it is so). Unfortunately, you can not just enjoy his new car / routes in Arcade Mode, because only obtained after completing a mission (consisting of several tasks), and not for a job, a new car or a track, so that the reached Unlocks slightly can count a single source
Thus, it is practice practice practice, but unfortunately a lot of practicing and probably better a steering wheel is required for some tasks.
For me as casual gamers it will probably remain at the occasional enjoyment of initially unlocked but very successful vehicles / routes, and always ride the disappointment that for the high purchase price or less but not much to see is on offer. Too Bad.
