I had the "Jack Wolfskin All Terrain Texapore" bought before my vacation and my equal to 2 large bubbles back brought on my first trek to the verses (verses shaft made of hard rubber, no shrinkage possible therefore junk!). These so highly praised JW shoes I immediately re-sold on vacation and then bought this Meindl shoes.
This Meindl hiking boot is very light, very comfortable from the start and should not be run. In my walking holiday in the mountains (Sesto Dolomites), the shoe was absolutely super
(Even with Compeed-blister). Bin trudged through snow, on ice sheets and puddles of condensation and the shoes remained dry and warm and super comfortable.
As never pressed something or something ...
The profile is quite flat (unlike the JW) and yet I had the best grip in all situations. I completed a migration of more than 5 hours with all areas of the shoe and am just thrilled.
This shoe I can no ifs and buts absolutely recommend.
After my long journey had and I did not want to take off the shoes while driving, because he was still so easy to carry around.
The price is also right.
The Meindl shoe is also great to use for forest walks with us in D, since the application range is very diverse. An absolute all-rounder.
My next shoe will surely again Meindl, because I've never had such a comfortable walking shoe.
Have fun with this shoe.
