The first is an excellent gateway to the Freudian psychoanalytic thought and the key concepts that are transferring, Oedipus, repression, infantile sexuality, ect neurosis.
Concise and clear that part is a good summary of the theoretical work of Freud.
The second part is an early history of the psychoanalytic movement seen by Freud.
This part seems less interesting to me, but reading is profitable to discover the views of Freud on the work of Adler and Jung, who disciples, emancipate Freudian theories.
